Doublebraided Collar handcrafted by Mendota in the USA; available sizes are: up to 46cm (18"), up to 53cm (21"),up to 60cm (24") x 1" (2.5cm) & are available in Olive, Teal, Brown, Sand, Sunet, HiViz Yellow, Salt & Pepper, Camo, Kelly Confetti, Raspberry Confetti, Black Confetti, Purple Confetti, Red, Blue, Hunter Green, Orange, Purple, Hot Pink & Kelly Green. They are made from soft double braid durable nylon material 1" (approx 2.5cm) wide , infinitely adjustable & colourfast, with solid brass Buckle & "D" ring; these collars match Mendota's Snap Leashes.
Doublebraid collars, are measured to the maximum neck size (e.g. the 18" collar will fit all dog's necks up to 18") they do not have holes punched into them to take the buckle's pin, the pin is simply (and easily) pushed through the material at the correct spot; to calculate the correct size collar measure your dog's neck (where the collar will sit) using a tape measure, then ensure that you can fit two of your fingers under the tape, to choose the collar: dogs with necks less than 18" should have the "up to" 18inch size, necks less than 21" should have the "up to" 21inch size and necks less than 24" should have the "up to" 24inch size.
When fitting the new collar to your dog you will need to allow enough room to fit your two fingers underneath it again, any more than this and your dog will be able to "back out" of the collar when you have a lead attached to it, any less and you may choke your dog.
